Workplace wellness

Wellness support for staff not only leads to fewer sick days and lower turnover rates, it also improves performance, productivity, focus, energy and can ease friction between staff members. Rapid stress buster

Stressed-out staff often leads to poor quality work, low level thinking, bad communication, impaired problem solving and increased sick days. Rather than trying to soothe a person into being calm, the rapid stress buster process is about going directly to the problem and the resulting stress and releasing as much of that distress as possible in as short a time as possible. This can be used most effectively at the beginning of a challenging project, when a tough problem arises, in the final push to get a project done, when you see someone is overwhelmed, just before a big presentation or when a new person is finding their feet. 


How this works: I’m available for a set amount of time on a specific day(s) each week or month (eg: “from 9am - 11am every Tuesday”). I work 1-1 with whoever wants help during that time, one after another. I can also work with a whole team as a unit if each member is willing. In person sessions are a minimum of 3 hours. This workshop is designed to give staff the foundations of some of the scientifically validated, mind-body methods I rely on the most to create wellbeing and improved performance in the workplace. These are tools that they can use every day for themselves to address things like stress, problem solving, team conflicts, doubts, handling feedback, procrastination and more. Deep work

The amount of pressure and challenges at work today are enormous. The demands of just making it through can leave you feeling depressed and depleted. To make things worse, there may be no-one you can turn to for support, and even if there was, you may not want anyone you know finding out just how bad it is. Being in a position where you’re not allowed to break or even falter, yet you’re no longer able to hold it together, can be terrifying. The deep work package is for people in this position.


Despite all the very real challenges in the external world, a great deal of our struggle comes from unresolved emotional wounds and unconscious ways of viewing the world that compound those challenges many times over. Here I guide people through a number of processes that create deep and profound shifts in addressing core challenges, fundamental fears and improving communication. After those broad strokes, we focus on the key problem(s) you face to help release the stress and shift those situations on an energetic level (which almost always results in a change at the physical level). Throughout the sessions, you will be learning methods (by osmosis) to help you navigate any challenges that come your way in the future. I will show you how to use this to systematically cultivate more wellbeing and resilience and provide you with a written document so that you can go over the instructions long after our last session. My Story

Growing up I struggled at school and so I took an interest in alternative ways of learning and self-help. I discovered that there are different approaches to learning that are not as popular but are far more effective. As my interest grew, I came across the methods I now use where this same thread of something unconventional yet highly effective was present. What I discovered was that while I was putting lots of effort into trying harder to be better, there was a deeper current that could be addressed. This is the current of our subconscious, our energies, our emotions, our traumas. I’ve become deeply fascinated by this partly because shifting this current not only organically creates change with the specific problems we face, it simultaneously cultivates more wellbeing within ourselves. It doesn’t require willpower and discipline, nor are you trying to just soothe yourself into a calm state (which can be extraordinarily hard and frustrating when you have a ball of fear in your stomach because there is a very real problem that needs to be dealt with RIGHT NOW!) This process is more like shifting the banks of a river. You can make significant changes without having to motivate the water, it will change course naturally when the riverbed changes.


I have also been deeply affected by both positive and toxic work environments. I realized these processes could help bring more wellness to an area where there seems to be so much hardship, anxiety and depression. From a young age I’ve felt that it’s not right for so many people to come back from work looking so depressed. Something is wrong, it needs to change, and I hope to be a part of that change. I hope to help bring more wellbeing and kindness into the workplace.
