My Story

I began my journey 20 years ago as a psychologist, uplifting everyday people from the depths of depression, anxiety, and trauma. Today, I am a keynote speaker, workshop leader, and burnout consultant. My mission is to help leaders and executives better understand themselves and how their personality contributes to burnout as well as what they can do given their unique preferences and ways of thinking to shift out of burnout. Using that insight, they can then implement changes that will benefit workers' wellbeing throughout the organization.

Education and Certifications

My clients say

“As a physician-scientist, there are many systems-level issues that impact my day to day functioning. While I can work and advocate for systems-level change, that is slow going and may not be realized in my career or even lifetime! But what this work is teaching and reminding me is that in many circumstances, I cannot control the events around me, but I can control my interpretation of them and my response to them. This is key to managing my work, myself, to prevent burnout and optimize my life.”

— Kerri Johannson, Associate Professor of Medicine, University of Calgary

“Working with Dr. Sharon Grossman has been amazing! As a new entrepreneur, I am learning the ropes in the arena of becoming a business owner. There are times I am stressed and impatient with my own learning curve and Sharon has guided me right through these roadblocks. Dr. Grossman has helped me to increase my confidence, clarify my vision, and she has equipped me with the tools and blueprint to navigate this rough terrain.  What I have observed in our sessions is apparently a norm for Dr. Grossman and that is how she constantly plants the seeds to make me think bigger.  One idea ends up having elasticity that stretches so much further than I imagined.  She immediately turns one step into four or five and the feeling is exhilarating. It’s an old cliche, but I really feel myself growing in leaps and bounds!”

— Karren E. Henderson, Founder and CEO of EAs in the C-Suite
