Harnessing Health and Happiness from Energy, Auras, Chakras

Energy, Auras and Chakras: Upgrade your Health and Happiness

Energy healers such as Reiki Masters, Crystal Healers, and Medical Intuitives are able to read the energetic blueprint of your physical body and see how energy is moving through you, affecting the body’s physical health. A doctor can perform tests or x-rays to spot which organ is malfunctioning, but an energy worker can see beyond the physical ailment into the energetic body.

One of the basic tenets of energy healing is that all physical ailments originate in the psyche.

An ache or stiffness you’re experiencing may just be the physical manifestation of an unhealthy attitude or an emotional trauma (from this life or another) that has been left untended.

If you work directly upon the energetic issue that has caused the discomfort, the ailment may improve or clear up on its own accord.

Chakra Alignment and your Health

The seven chakras are located along the central column of the spine, and each one holds a specific energy in an area of your body for a specific bodily function. If a given chakra is open and healthy, this tells us that the physical organs associated with the chakra are functioning well and that the individual is manifesting healthy behavior and attitudes in the corresponding area of life.

If a given chakra is contracted, this indicates that the individual is practicing unhealthy attitudes, beliefs, or emotional patterns in a certain area of life. This constricts the flow of life force energy, or chi, to the associated parts of the body.

Keeping your chakras and energy body aligned in a state of balance produces benefits that extend far beyond physical health. When chakras are open and balanced, we are energetic, productive, loving, perceptive, awake, confident and self-respecting. We instinctively choose what is healthy and effortlessly turn away from what is not.

When our energy body is balanced, we have an easy time identifying and going after what we want, and we are successful in getting it. We feel a sense of “belonging”— something absolutely essential for mental health — because we connect spontaneously and authentically with people who support and nurture us.

When the chakras are blocked, however, life can feel foggy and unclear because we are impeding life force energy from moving through the body freely. We may be inhibited in our ability to give or receive love, or our streams of wealth, security, and resources may stagnate.

We might even feel sickly, uninspired, depressed, lethargic, disorganized, disoriented, or lacking in self-confidence. We more easily stray from the path of our best interests, and we may find ourselves facing more logistical problems, sickness, hardships, and shortages.

The good news is that the body is a temple, and this temple can become a magnificent conductor of energy if we tend to it with the proper care. When you cleanse and purify your aura, this will allow the body's natural healing process to flourish, allowing etheric nourishment in and releasing what we don’t need.

Working with an energy healer provides many benefits in this regard, as they can teach you how to create an uplifting, “high vibrational” environment that nurtures your energy body. Try out a sound bowl meditation (also called sound bath), shamanic healing session, or Reiki!

Additionally, here are 4 ways to upgrade your self-care routine:

1. Earthing: Sometimes the best way to reset and find alignment is to connect with Mother Nature! Find an outdoor space that makes you feel comfortable and calm like the beach, the forest, the lake, or your own backyard.  Take off your shoes and feel the ground beneath you. When you are grounded, your body synchronizes with the natural frequencies of the Earth and you become more connected to the world around you. This charge of electrons helps to balance your energy and may result in reduced stress, depression, and anxiety; improved sleep; and relief of chronic illness and pain.

2. Breathwork Exercises: This is a great way to calm the mind and be present. Try a new breathing technique. One example is Box breathing. Box breathing slows the sympathetic stress response. Sitting with a straight spine, close your eyes and inhale for a count of four, then hold for a count of four, then exhale for a count of four, and finish by holding for another count of four. Repeat for a few minutes or until you feel refreshed. Ah! I feel better already!

3. Color-Coordinate : Each chakra is represented by a color. What you wear, eat, and touch can highlight and enhance the energies of the chakra in question. If your Root Chakra feels imbalanced, wear a red shirt, carry fire agate or carnelian, paint your nails red, or eat a red apple!

4. Eat Chakra Foods: Chakras not only connect to colors but foods too.  If your Third Eye Chakra is imbalanced, don your favorite Prince T-shirt and eat foods like blueberries, plums, and eggplant!

Adding these activities into your practice can be highly beneficial. Yet, we cannot always see the ailments that are plaguing our own body, whether physical, mental, emotional, or spiritual! In this case, we recommend connecting with an energy healer as they are trained to find the imbalances and blockages within an energetic body.

It's important to understand that spiritually, there is a lot of influence that goes into your overall well-being that is not necessarily obvious to the naked eye. Keeping in tune with your energetic needs and working to remain balanced will allow you to harness health and happiness in all areas of your life.
